Terms and Conditions

The provision of all goods and services for the customer by EmeliaMonier.com website is carried out exclusively on the basis of the following terms and conditions in the version valid at the time the order is placed.

By making a purchase, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are fully aware of all of these terms and conditions when making a purchase with EmeliaMonier.com.

Ordering

If you are placing an order with us you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

You represent and warrant that: you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any purchase; the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.

By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of purchases.

Please note, payment is only debited from your card at time your order is confirmed.

All transactions on the Service are processed using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This technology encrypts your card details and stops anyone else accessing them. SSL is recognized as a secure method of online payment. However we will not be responsible for any damages, consequential losses (whether direct or indirect) suffered by a customer whose credit card is fraudulently used or is used in an unauthorized manner as a result of using our website.

Once we have received your order we will send a confirmation to your email address. It is therefore important that you enter the correct email address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service you may have in the future. The order confirmation also serves as a guarantee or proof of your purchase. 

Prices

All prices for United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) customers are final and include all applicable taxes.

Please note that for customers outside European Union (EU) local charges (customs duty, sales tax) may apply, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at your own expense.

EmeliaMonier.com retains the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

Delivery

EmeliaMonier.com ships worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the courier / postal services and their partners in other countries around the world.

When your order items have been dispatched, we will email you to confirm shipment.

Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your order to the address indicated on your order confirmation. Once your order has been shipped, we are unable to redirect it.

Estimated delivery time:

Customers within United Kingdom 

Expedited delivery:  2-4 working days.

Customers within European Union 
1st Class, Tracked & Signed mail:  5-7 working days.

Customers outside European Union
1st Class, Tracked & Signed mail:  7-15 working days.

We will use our reasonable efforts to deliver your order to you within the estimated timing. However, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame.

Most orders shipped by EmeliaMonier.com requires a signature upon delivery. If you miss the delivery person, a card will be left to give you instructions to either arrange a redelivery or to collect it from your local post office / delivery depot.

If an order is received damaged or faulty, this must be reported to our Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving the goods. 

Lost deliveries

EmeliaMonier.com use Expedited shipping or 1st Class Tracked & Signed mail for order delivery. Unfortunately, as with all delivery services, there are very rare circumstances where parcels do not arrive in the agreed timescale or they are lost completely. In the case of lost items, we cannot refund orders or send out a replacement until the delivery is confirmed to be lost. This must be confirmed by the delivery service themselves, and the time periods at which items can be confirmed lost depends on the delivery service used, and are detailed as follows:

Customers within United Kingdom: 25 days to confirm a lost parcel.

Customers within European Union: 35 days to confirm a lost parcel.

Customers outside European Union: 45 days to confirm a lost parcel.

Please note that we cannot refund orders or send replacement until it has been confirmed that the parcel is actually lost. This is because in almost every case of a delayed parcel, the item will be delivered within the above timescales.

In case of lost delivery you will get 100% payment refund or replacement will be shipped within 2 working days after lost confirmation.

Order cancelation / returns

You have the right to cancel this contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 30 days of delivery.

Please contact us at support@emeliamonier.com informing about your decision to return the purchase. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions how and where to send your goods within 48 business hours.

The item must be returned complete with the original box in brand new and in unworn / unused condition. Any watch that fails quality inspection from Customer Service (scratches, worn, damaged) will be returned to you and no refund will be issued. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that for orders under £100 the return shipping cost is covered by the customer.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days.

Warranty

EMELIA MONIER watches are warranted for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of purchase against materials and manufacturing defects under the terms and conditions of this warranty.

This warranty covers the following items: watch movement, hands, dial and crown. Should one of these covered components be shown to be defective in its materials or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the service center.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Battery, Case, Crystal, Strap, Bracelet or Other Embellishments.
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear
  • Water damage if watch is not marked “water resistant” (water damage of leather strap is not guaranteed in any circumstance.

This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.

In case of replacement, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the same model watch. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value and similar appearance will be provided.

Requesting warranty or other watch repair

Please contact us at support@emeliamonier.com requesting warranty / other watch repair service. You will receive email with instructions how and where to send your goods within 48 business hours.

All content included on this site, including without limitation, text, graphics, images, animations, computer programs, data, designs, logos is the property of TGW Europe Ltd. and its content suppliers and protected by copyright laws.

The EMELIA MONIER trademark and designs is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

The EMELIA MONIER trademark may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of trademark owners.

Termination of Usage

EmeliaMonier.com may terminate user's access, or suspend any user's access to all or part of EmeliaMonier.com, without notice, for any conduct that EmeliaMonier.com, in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another user, a third-party provider, a service provider, or EmeliaMonier.com or any of its affiliates.

Law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions of sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in relation to the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
